Bugatti: A Legendary and Historic Brand

Founded in 1909, the Bugatti brand has been a byword for aesthetically and technologically unique cars for over 100 years. Since 1998 the legendary brand and its 240 employees (2013) have been part of the Volkswagen Group. In 2005 Bugatti re-started production at its historic home in the Alsatian town of Molsheim. The factory currently produces the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport and Veyron 16.4 Vitesse. A total of just 150 units of these models – both of which are roadsters – will be built, and only around 40 are still available for purchase. All 300 units of the limited-run Veyron 16.4 and Veyron 16.4 Super Sport coupés have already been sold.

Unbeatable Quality Standards and Technical Masterpieces

Staying true to its motto “Art, Forme, Technique”, Bugatti combines the artistic roots of its Italian founder with French savoir-vivre and German engineering ingenuity. The brand has been a paragon of exclusivity, luxury, elegance and passion ever since it was established. A great tradition of legendary sports cars, precision craftsmanship in the development, construction and production of its models, and designs that were ahead of their time set Bugatti apart in those early years and continue to shape the brand to this day. Bugatti attaches great importance to safeguarding the highest possible quality standards and to using only state-of-the-art and top-quality materials. All the cars that leave Bugatti’s production facility, known as “The Studio”, are subjected to a meticulous testing and sign-off process before they are delivered to customers. They are then looked after individually by specially trained Bugatti engineers and technicians either in Molsheim, at the nearest dealer or at the customer’s own premises. This ensures they remain in technically flawless condition at all times.
